Stresa is located right in the middle of the shore of Lake Maggiore, in a panoramic and picturesque position opposite the Borromean islands of Isola Bella, Isola Madre (flower island) and Isola dei Pecatori (fishing island). The beauty and harmony of the landscape and architectural elements almost blending in eachother, together with the unique location and the mild climate, have made this place one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy since the second half of the 19th century. Our house is situated on a beautiful hillside property of approx. 2,500 m², which is at the disposal of our guests. From all flats you have a unique view of the lake and the islands.

One of the biggest attractions is certainly the magnificent lakeside promenade with its elegant hotels and residences. In Stresa there are two lidos with deckchairs and parasols. One is in the part of the village called Carciano, with showers/toilets, first aid, bar and kiosk. This can be reached in 10 minutes by foot, by car you only need 2 minutes. The second beach is in the area below Villa Pallavicino and has a bar, kiosk and mini-golf facilities.

Along the promenade are the public beaches of Borromeo, Lido Blu and Gigi. There are also public beaches on the islands of Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori.

Furthermore, our guests can use our property for swimming with direct lake access at Lake Orta, which you can reach by car in about 30 minutes.
